New Zealand-style "I Will Survive" (inspired by the geothermal features of Rotorua)

The geothermal features surrounding Rotorua are like nothing I've ever seen before!  So much so, that they spontaneously inspired a song/parody, that I've compiled into a music video.

Geothermal "I Will Survive" – a la Rotorua

If you liked it, and think that your friends might too, consider sharing it on Facebook  :-)

PARODY LYRICS, by Yours Truly

At first I was afraid, I was petrified
Kept thinking I could never live with geysers by my side
But then I spent so many days, by the billowing white steam
And I realized that to live in Rotorua is my dream

And now I like
That sulfur smell
And I take pleasure in the steam vents
From the fiery depths of hell
I will confess, though, when the ground
Beneath my feet starts belching steam
I do wonder if the earth
Won’t soon be splitting at the seam

But don’t you fret
I will survive!
And bathing in those sulfur pools —
My God! It’s good to be alive!
My skin is silky to the touch,
My acne’s gone, my back don’t ache
Keep your snow and hypothermia
For myself — I’d rather bake.

Yeah yeah yeah —
I will survive!
And bathing in those pools
Just makes me all the more alive!
I've got all my life to live
It's got all that steam to give
I will survive. I will survive!
